HORIZON DISCOVERY - COFFEE TABLE

The Horizon Discovery coffee table is inspired by Portuguese maritime exploration during the 15th and 16th centuries. With a wooden frame, the piece is wrapped in solid brass, rigorously hand hammered and meticulously soldered as if it were a real jewel. Using ancient techniques of embossing, repoussé and chasing, Malabar craftsmen have handcrafted reliefs of "Portuguese caravels" on its undulating form. This table also combines the polishing of brass with the ageing process, giving a unique character to this limited edition Horizon.

Malabar's design identity is based on the modernisation of the architectural and artistic heritage of the last 5 centuries, both Portuguese and international. The brand's desire to contribute to the art of the world is reflected in each piece designed, unique from its concept to its form.
