Sagres is an emblematic town in the south of Portugal. This beautiful place inspired Malabar to create the Sagres sideboard, a stunning contemporary piece. The polished brass compass rose and latitude lines of the nautical charts, added to the design of this sideboard, symbolise the centuries of trial and error of the brave explorers. The impressive wooden structure, veneered with poplar root and finished with a translucent coloured varnish, is supported by a copper-plated brass frame with gold leaf on the inside.

Malabar's design identity is based on the modernisation of the architectural and artistic heritage of the last 5 centuries, both Portuguese and international.
